Lachen, Lachung and Yumthang Tour Overview

An morning ride from Gangtok to Lachen.On the way sightseeing. An early morning view of Gurudongmar lake and back to Lachung night stay. Next morning you will proceed to Yumthang Valley.

Lachen, Lachung and Yumthang Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Gangtok – Lachen (About 117 kms / 6 hrs)

After breakfast pick up at 09:00 A.M from hotel at Gangtok & start for Lachen (altitude 8610 ft), a beautiful small village. En route photo stop at Singhik View Point, Seven Sisters falls, Naga Falls, Bhim Nala, Mangan, & Chungthang. On the way stop for Lunch at your own. Reach Lachen by evening. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Lachenol.

Day 2

Lachen – Gurudongmar Excursion - Lachung

After breakfast visit Gurudongmer Lake. After lunch transfer to Lachung. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Lachung.

Day 3

March - Lachung – Yumthang Valley Excursion - Gangtok

After breakfast start for Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft. known as Valley of Flowers). On the way back, visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to resort for lunch. After noon start for Gangtok. Evening free for Leisure. Night stay at Gangtok.

Day 4

Gangtok – NJP Rly Station/IXB Airport(125 kms)

Post breakfast, Check out and embark on a drive from hotel to reach New Jalpaiguri railway station (Siliguri) or Bagdogra Airport (Siliguri). Your arrival at railway station or airport will mark the end of the tour.
